charity month ( MOVEMBER )
Firstly we are in the month of November, 8 ks till Christmas,just though you wanted know that.!
well in Franco's this month we have token the role of growing some facial hair and creating a moustache.all in ad of charity and raising funds for prostate cancer .
as monkeyboy has very light facial hair colour, we gave him a head start as from august last year.
pop in to checkout who creating what!
we are open 4 late nights in the week, Tues /weds / Thurs /Fri till 7pm.

The Bristol belter
Roll into October ,glad to see the back of September ,what with the Bristol half marathon and the Bristol belt er ,I am truly whacked.
Race day was warm which didn't help, but a controlled race I cross the line 2 hrs 5Min's. As thought I didn't do enough training..the same could be said for the Bristol belt er ,it destroyed me!! I Slept like a baby.
what new in Franco's well we have a new product range in call EVO. It's the same people who brought you fudge.
There are six styling Products to the range and a shampoo and conditioner .pop in and ask to see this new styling haze power.
It's mad ,just sprinkle it on to the hair to provide texture and a zero shine. Check it out !
Finally Franco's raised £500.00 for meningitis for all his effort's .

Bristol half marathon 2011
well with two days to go before the Bristol half, hope are fading fast for a sub 2hr time.
perpetration has been poor .On Sunday i manage to do my 1 and only long run of 8 miles.
Mean while at Barbering @ Franco's the monkboy ,Sam,Dan are arranging a sweep stake on the event.
At what mile will Franco collapse!
great support from my team ,don't you just love em.
the charity i have chosen to run for, is the Meningitis research foundation.
collection boxes are in moda hairdressing & Franco's so min um denotation is a
fiver .
so best of luck on the day Look out and give me a shout! and remember run like the wind.

charity fun raising events.
Its that time of year for fun raising ,so here are two big sporty events i booked in for, September.
The Bristol half marathon 11Th and the 25Th, The Bristol belter .
A 75 mile bike ride, route Bristol to Cheddar & back climbing up some nasty hills.
All monies raised will go to-the charity click Sergeant.
Training has been poor ,as my body thinks its still on holiday.
Anybody interested in the Bristol belter sign up and come and join our team.
Bike rides are on Wednesday afternoon for those who are interested in getting those extra miles in.
I keep you posted on the final preparation.

Gloucester rd fire!
just survived a massive fire explosion from next door,apart from a melted comb and a singed fringe!!
were AL-right! both me and monkey boy and Sam & Dan are deeply touch by your concern of our welfare. with no damage what so ever we are open as usual . come in and ,will give you the up to date gossip on what happen and the usually conspiracy stories flying round.
with 4 four late nights,there no
excuses in popping in for a trim.
PS when you come in don't say "WHAT HAPPEN NEXT DOOR"

Glastonbury festival 2011
Glastonbury approaches thick and fast ,already a year gone by, you can also tell it's approaching as it's been raining. Good old Glastonbury
Wouldn't be the same without rain.
So here is frank top tips on survival for the weekend.
* bring wellies even if it hot ,you never know!
* don't bring a tent! As you won't find it amongst The rest
* don't bring any money, so you haven't worry about losing any.
* last but not least ,most importunately Get Your Hair Cut ( look smart. ) cause you never know what celebrity you might bump into,
it could Be your 1 and only chance. Remember( first impression ) Make it count!

this Friday me and Tina are off on a 5 days trip to Orlando.
its a invite from tigi,to all national accounts salon in the UK, as a work/pleasureworkshop. we re looking forward to the trip as its a way to talk to other salon owner's
and share other ideas, and introducing them back too the salon.
Its also a chance to see the latest launch of new and exciting products with from tigi.

Well the bristol 10k is finally upon us ,and we are down to the last minute details for the event .well you done the training and watch your diet ,but have you though about a last minute trim . Keeping cool & looking smart is key .pop in to franco's and one of the boys will sort you out . .with late nights tue, we'd ,thur ,Friday till 7 you have a team at hand .

Spring into Spring at Francos
A BIG hello from all at franco's!
Well the good news is, Spring is finally upon us - this all means bianchi magic!!!
(Bike rides) starts now. Wednesday around 6 pm meeting point ,out side franco's. lets get that Lycra on .
running dates!
Bristol 10k. 15th May
I am booked in so I'll see you on the start line!
Formula 1 season starts this weekend, big cheers to Alonso & Massa. Pay back time boys (Red Bull).
Finally, Champions League kicks off again. Final is in Wembley. Will there be an English club there?
Gloucester news! We welcome bubalu. a coffee house / gym classes / healthy snacks & juices bar.
We wish Mike the proprietor good luck as he a nice fella who is keen to make it work.
At Franco's we are doing late nights Tue, Wed, Thur, Friday till 7 pm.
Enjoy the atmosphere , chill out and listen to the useless banter on offer as no one seems in a rush to go home.
I promise the updates will come thick and fast and look out for our new website which is due to go live very soon. Over and out!

Happy new year to you all . Hope it wasn't too messy. Now the serious stuff. We did a survey @ franco's end of last year,and the thing that clients picked up on was waiting time !!
On the bench.
So this year we have taken on board,a fourth man ,by the name of Dan. So what happened to monkey-boy or Sam?
The answer is nothing, they're still there, so I am changing my days.
At franco's I am working Monday /Friday/Saturday, then I am working two days at moda hairdressing Tue / Thur, helping out and cutting. I'll be more than happy to continue are service up at moda.the advantage is you can book an appointment (may suit you ) free beverages and nicer surrounds, not just the girls! at a discount price.
As for barbering@franco's they are offering 4 late night Tue too Friday till 7 o'clock ,and all 3 barber chairs working 6 days week.
